The largest press conglomerate in Brazil countryside region, RAC Group (Rede Anhangüera de Comunicação) publishes the Correio Popular, the Diário do Povo, the Notícia Já, the Gazeta do Cambuí, the Gazeta de Piracicaba, and the Gazeta de Ribeirão newspapers, Metrópole magazine and Cosmo portal. Agência Anhangüera de Notícias (AAN) and GrafCorp printing press and bureau are also part of the group.

Since its start in 1997, RAC Group has launched new products following main media trends in the world, segmenting and regionalizing its newspapers. With these figures, São Paulo countryside’s GDP is larger than those of most Latin American countries, such as Chile and Colombia.
